Before the quiz — important instructions

•  The quiz will be conducted online 
  
  
• The quiz would be LIVE on 3 Sep 2026 from 10 AM onwards to midnight 0000 hrs
  
  
• Check your email regularly, including your spam and promotions folders, for verification requests and quiz access details
  
  
• To login, use the same name, email address, and mobile number provided during registration.  
  
  
• Join the quiz using a reliable phone, tablet, or computer with a stable internet connection. 
  
  
• Open the quiz link at least 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late access may not be permitted. 
  
  
• The quiz will contain two sets of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) 
  
  
• Each set will have 30 questions to be completed in 15 mins
  
  
• Participants must complete both sets together at one go within, it will take a maximum of 30 mins to complete. So find a suitable time during the day and complete the Quiz at one go.
  
  
• There will be two attempts provided to complete the quiz. Please do not toggle windows or Back button. The system then reads as a completion of the quiz and you will not get any futher attempts
  
  
• Each question will provide a selection of possible answers. Choose the one best answer unless stated otherwise. 
  
  
• Set 1: will assess your understanding of essential culinary principles, professional kitchen practices, ingredients, techniques, safety, hygiene, and cuisine awareness. 
  
  
• Set 2:  will challenge you to apply your knowledge to practical kitchen situations and professional decision-making
  
  
•  Complete the quiz independently. Do not seek assistance, consult external sources, take screenshots, copy questions, or share the quiz link. 
  
  
•  Submit your answers within the allotted time. Answers may be recorded automatically when the quiz closes.
  
  
• Please share a valid photo ID and proof of current employment ready. These may be requested to confirm your eligibility, if need be.
  
  
• Culinary students, if they apply, must also provide valid proof that they are currently employed in a professional culinary role with the organization stated during registration.
  
  
• Each eligible participant may submit only one entry. Duplicate or unverifiable entries may be disqualified. 
  
  
•  The organizers’ decision regarding eligibility, scoring, tie-breaks, and results will be final.
